Join us at an event!
Throughout the planning process, the City of East Peoria and the consultant teams and city staff will host a series of events from large Open Houses, to Plan Commission and City Council Meetings, to pop-up events around town. Join us at these public events to learn more about the process and share your feedback and vision for the future of East Peoria.

Richland Neighborhood Open House
Join Us!
You’re invited to our second Planning Open House focused on the Richland Neighborhood. Stop by any time throughout the event to ask questions and share your feedback on what you want to see for the future of Richland and the City of East Peoria.
Building on the information gathered in our last open house, the East Peoria 2045 planning consultants will be on hand to walk residents and community stakeholders through a series of stations to collect feedback on draft goals for the community’s future. Kids are welcome to attend and provide their ideas. After the event, the consultant team will record all of the feedback into common themes. These findings will be used to shape the recommendations in the final comprehensive plan.
Why should you attend?
Your feedback on the draft objectives, goals, and priorities will directly inform the final recommendations and action steps in the new comprehensive plan being developed for the City of East Peoria.
Who should attend?
We invite all current and former residents of the Richland community, youth, faith leaders, service providers, and small business owners to share their concerns and ideas for the future. Basically, if you work, live, or play in Richland, we want to hear from you!
We will have refreshments on hand for attendees while supplies last.
